What's happening folks.... glad you dropped by for a visit!

GREETINGS ONE AND ALL !

Well it is still cold. If you are a cold weather person I guess you are having yourself a large time. For those of you who think this weather stinks, all we can hope for is spring comes early!

Our thanks to Sam Miller and the folks at the SMLA Food Pantry for the benefit concert that was held at the Kirk Ave Music Hall on Sunday Jan 17. The Locust Mtn. Boys, Acoustic Endeavors, and Blue Mule supplied the music. Also there was a special reunion of "The Cat Tales" to kick things off. Over $600.00 and a pick-up truck load of food was raised, and the crowd really had a large time. I think allot of folks were glad to get out and about. All the musicians participated on a musical project for the SMLA Food Pantry. Blue Mule donated 2 songs to the project, along with several instrumentals from Eli & Tim. Also featured are the last songs recorded by female vocalist Linda Miller, who this project has been dedicated to. You can get a copy of the CD on line @ www.slmafoodpantry.org All proceeds go the the Food Pantry.

Coming up in February is our show with the Mosier Brothers of Blueground Undergrass at Kirk Ave Music Hall. Mark your calendar for February 12th. It will be one heck of a time. Check out VIDEO page for a clip from last fall when we jammed with the Brothers.

Community High School will be doing it's annual Fat Tuesday Celebration on February 16. It will be located inside Fitzpatrick Hall at the Jefferson Center in Roanoke, VA. Music, Silent Auction, food & spirits..we are proud to be a part of the fun once again. Community High does really good things to further quality education in the Roanoke Valley. February 26 will find us back at Annie Moore's Irish Pub. Always a good time, we have a blast there each time we play.

We are still trying to finish up the new recording project...maybe we will have it done before the Polar Ice Caps melt :-)
